By hiding under the lip of the hood side, you eliminate the unsightly need for the traditional radiator to firewall support rods. Due to our unique and exclusive design of a tube support, you can now hide that unsightly latch release cable by running it through our tube support and into the cowl – making it disappear (NOTE: This kit will work with original and aftermarket  grilles. The latch cable can be run through either driver or passenger side tube, depending on your style. The kit requires the installer to do a small amount of welding, drilling, and tapping.
